Staying cool in the summer can be difficult, especially while wearing a fur coat! Dogs can quickly get too warm and dehydrated, particularly if they are active out of doors.

The Solution

We created the Hydro Bone, a hydrating chew toy, to keep canines cool and content, even in hot weather. The chew toy comes in 3 sizes, for dogs and puppies 6 weeks and older. The water holding toy combines fun with refreshment so it quenches your dog’s thirst while playing. When soaked, the molded rubber bone’s foam core absorbs water, which is then released through specially designed holes as the toy is squeezed. We developed Pugz Shoes for a client who wanted to provide warmth and protection in harsh conditions for their dog. The comfortable (and fashionable!) boots enable dogs that live indoors to be taken outside without fear of their paws being injured or frostbitten. Made of breathable faux leather and faux wool, the booties protect a dog’s paws while keeping them warm, clean and dry. Cushioned by the soft, durable fabric, dog claws will no longer scratch hardwood floors when worn inside. Each shoe has an adjustable hook-and-loop strap to ensure a secure fit. Many dog owners must tether their canine companions outdoors at times. Usually, it is just a matter of time before the chain or cable knocks over the dog’s food and water bowls as the pet runs around; the food gets dirty and the water soaks into the soil or evaporates, leaving the dog thirsty. In addition, ordinary tethering devices that protrude from the ground pose a tripping hazard and an obstacle for a lawn mower.

The Solution

We developed the Better Tether for our client, who wanted to create a better and more humane method of tethering a dog outdoors. Unlike traditional devices, the unit is placed in-ground, eliminating an obstacle to pets, humans and machines. The divided food and water bowl can never be tipped over and the unit never has to be moved for the lawnmower! A leash can be attached directly to the strong steel post within the unit, and the vivid orange color makes the bowl highly visible. Fido will never go thirsty again!
