Our Creationeers know how important it is to have necessary tools ready and available without having to search all over. How often do you need a good pair of scissors at home, but can never find them? When it came to cutting anything around the home, garage or office, Inventionland Creationeers were excited to connect with Angelica! Angelica was selected as the winner of the Steve Harvey Show’s “Pitch to Win” contest by our very own founder and CEO George Davison! Determined to provide an easy solution so you never have to search through messy junk drawers for scissors again, Creationeers got to work to innovate Angelica’s inventive idea.

The Solution

The Quick Cut is a convenient stick-on cutting tool that adheres to all flat surfaces and is ideal for cutting clothing tags, thread, ribbon, fishing line and more. Place the string over the tool and pull down to cut! The tool itself is devised of only four components including a main body that our Creationeers ultrasonically welded to the base, a scissor-cutter blade and a tape adhesive to allow it to stick to any flat surface for convenience and ease-of-use. The scissor-shaped design of the main body clearly communicates the purpose of the tool to the end user. The Quick Cut provides an easy solution to home-users everywhere, while crafted with only minimal tooling making it cost-effective.

With all of the practical features on a Swiss Army Knife, you would think that there would also be some kind of tool that could be used to alert others or draw attention to oneself in an emergency situation. Now there is.

The Solution

Davison developed the Swiss Army Whistle Knife to hold an extremely high-decibel whistle in one side of the knife housing without exposing any moving parts. If needed, a person can alert a bystander, their dog or authorities and even ward off a possible attacker by drawing attention to them. The Whistle Knife is also small enough that it can fit on a key ring and be taken anywhere.

The Swiss Army Whistle Knife includes all of the standard features of a Swiss Army knife, but it is also equipped with a high-decibel whistle that is perfect for alarming bystanders, pets or the authorities of any potential danger. There’s nothing more refreshing than a sip of soda straight from the can. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if there was a way to preserve freshness for even longer? Even further, there has to be a way to avoid spills and keep insects out while enjoying your beverage at outdoor parties or picnics.

The Solution

Inventionland Creationeers designed the Can Pump with a simple snap-on, locking flip-top closure designed to fit most standard soda cans. With a pump of the lid, the Can Pump re-pressurizes the open can of soda, helping to keep soda fresher longer. This beverage solution moved quickly from Inventionland product design and prototyping through to packaging to become part of Jokari/US, Inc.’s line of innovative gadgets under their Pepsi Heritage and Pepsi Modern collections.

It has a unique rounded rack system that holds meatballs, shish-kabob and a variety of other foods so they keep their shape and bake evenly while staying out of the grease. It’s also easy to clean!

This new line of products would provide easy carry and serve options for all kinds of baked goods, making them easier to transport.

The Solution

Inventionland Creationeers designed the David Tutera Dessert Carrier Cupcake Cone Insert as a solution to carry and serve a unique treat. By baking cupcakes inside of sugar cones, you get a delicious treat that combines two favorites and has beautiful presentation. The cupcake cone insert is compatible and fits easily with the Inventionland-designed David Tutera Dessert Carrier to hold 12 cones.

The Hot Dog Cutter was created to integrate within Jokari’s collection of useful kitchen gadgets. By designing a unique cutter that could safely slice a hot dog in one fell swoop, Creationeers created a solution that makes eating this favorite food fun and slicing it safe and easy.

Many reuse these bags for trash and recycling already, so Inventionland Creationeers got to work on an innovative product that would compliment this usage.

Trash Can Hanging Hooks were created to integrate within Jokari’s collection of useful kitchen gadgets. Starting with concept sketches, designers came up with an idea for innovative hooks that would easily mount inside a kitchen cabinet or on the wall with screws or adhesive strips to securely hold plastic shopping bags for reuse. Creationeers designed both product and packaging to align with Jokari’s brand and products.
