The Story

Pepsi drinkers on the go needed a quick solution for chilling bottled beverages without having to pour beverages into a separate drinking container with wider lid opening or making sure to place the bottled drink in the refrigerator for hours at a time before leaving the home. There needed to be a solution to cool drinks quickly and Inventionland founder and CEO George Davison, or “Mr. D,” had the solution!

The Solution

Mr. D and the Inventionland Creationeers designed the Bottle Ice tray with convenience and ease of use in mind. The challenge was to design an effective household product that could form oblong pieces of ice for placement into any bottle to chill. The simple bottle-shaped tray design – created with a molded plastic that could withstand freezer temperature for zero breakage – was easy to manufacture and required minimal tooling, making it a cost-effective solution which landed itself in Jokari/US, Inc.’s line of innovative Pepsi Heritage and Pepsi Modern beverage gadgets.
