It’s September 15 and it’s also National Thank You Day!
“Gratitude is the best attitude.”
National Thank You Day is a holiday that’s celebrated every year on September 15. Though we should always remember to be thankful every day, today, especially, expressing a sentiment of thanks to those around you can potentially change someone’s day for the better.
At Inventionland, our designers and creationeers take great pride in their work. Whether it’s graphic design, package engineering or woodworking, just to name a few, it really is an amazing feeling to create something from concept to completion and to see the finished product. It’s these accomplishments that fill us with gratitude.
On this day, take the time to thank those people who have done things to support you and to make your life much better. Whether it’s a co-worker, neighbor, friend, or family member, remember to say thank you!
Here are some creative ways to convey your gratitude!
- Give baked thanks – Acknowledge the efforts of those in your life by baking them something sweet. If you really want to show extra gratitude, our Half N Half Cupcake Pan, a product that was designed for our client, Melanie, will help you add some pizazz to your cupcakes!
- Make a DIY thank you card – If you love to draw and use your imagination, channel that creativity to make an innovative thank you card! Think outside-of-the-box and make something that will get your creative juices flowing. That will surely show just how much you care. In fact, on National Swap Ideas Day, one of Inventionland’s best sketch artists Dan McConnell offered some insight on the benefits of doodling!
- Say thank you – Although it may seem fairly obvious, a simple way to show your gratitude is to actually say “thank you.” If you can, don’t say it in a text or an email, say it in person. Saying thank you in person is an uncomplicated way to show your business partners, parents, friends or whoever it may be that you are truly thankful for them!
Finally, we want to take this time to say thank you to all of our clients who challenge us to create and dream every day.
