The 2015 WQED Invention Convention is back and we can’t wait to host this innovative event!
Tomorrow, we are going to open the doors of Inventionland, this time for fifth through eighth grade students from across the region, who are participating in the 2015 WQED Invention Convention! As you’re probably aware, Inventionland has hosted this event for the innovators of tomorrow for a few years now; and, we couldn’t be happier that our creative work space can help to inspire these young minds.
For student participants, the day will start off early in the morning and it will be filled with all things inventing, from challenges and product pitches to engineering hub sessions.
To begin, all participants will receive a special welcome from WQED engineers and our very own CEO and founder, Mr. George Davison!
After that, they’ll get to work on three different inventing projects: Paddle Power, Launch It and Zipline.
They’ll take only a quick break for lunch before the fun-filled day concludes with the students presenting product pitches to our panel of judges.
The day is sure to be brimming with creativity and we’ll bring you a full recap once the 2015 WQED Invention Convention wraps up!
