Designing cooking and bakeware innovations is nothing new for Inventionland’s team of Creationeers who work to serve creative ideas daily, seeing an idea through our 9-step process from concept to prototype, to real product in packaging.

Just last year, the Inventionland-designed Mega Bacon Pan made an appearance on QVC’s In the Kitchen with David. While it’s always exciting to see our products reach television sets of viewers everywhere, it’s even more gratifying when a product becomes a QVC best-seller!

That’s the same hope for the unique TriSagna Pan, set to appear during two popular segments on QVC today!

By designing a unique pan with three separate sections and individual lifting trays, Inventionland designers were able to create the unique TriSagna Pan to enable chefs of all skill levels to easily prepare and simultaneously bake three kinds of lasagna in a single pan. From meat to vegetarian, this pan encourages at-home chefs to get creative in the kitchen.

It wasn’t that long ago that the Mega Bacon Pan appeared on QVC’s In the Kitchen with David. While on the show, the Inventionland-designed product sold at an astounding rate.

Well, it turns out that the Mega Bacon Pan became a QVC best-seller and was invited back to QVC again to give host David Venable and Chef Tony Notaro an opportunity to experiment with the product even further, making some delectable creations in the kitchen!

The most recent airing of the Mega Bacon Pan was also a success. What makes it such a successful product? It all comes back to the foundation of the work that Inventionland Creationeers strive for on a daily basis. Innovation.

By creating a two-part pan with baking sheet and wire rack made of non-stick coated steel, Inventionland Creationeers were able to create a unique pan large enough to hold up to eighteen slices of thick-cut bacon. Each slice is placed on the elevated cooking rack on a diagonal, allowing the grease to drip away from the food and into the bottom pan, which acts as a reservoir.

With the pan as a simple solution to a greasy problem, it’s no wonder it’s a QVC best-seller!

And the excitement doesn’t stop there! Last week, we talked about how the Mold-A-Rama machines brought a bit of nostalgia into our invention factory, especially for two Inventionland Creationeers. Well, our Mega Bacon Pan happened to stir up a bit of nostalgia for QVC host David Venable, too!

“This smells like Saturday mornings at my house growing up when we had a full on breakfast!” said Venable during the segment.

Last month, on July 13^th, the Inventionland-designed Mega Bacon Pan sizzled on QVC as culinary professional Chef Tony Notaro showcased “this very ingenious way to cook bacon” on QVC’s In the Kitchen with David.

While host David Venable was impressed with the pan’s “smart, smart technology,” QVC viewers could be impressed by all of the innovative recipes – not to mention the amount of bacon – which could be made with just one pan.

But, the innovation doesn’t stop there! Less than two weeks later, on July 24^th, Chef Tony was back In the Kitchen with David to cook up even more bacon recipes with the unique Bacon Bowl Pan. Designed by Inventionland Creationeers, the pan was designed and engineered to be able to make six bacon bowls at one time, with a built-in reservoir to capture bacon grease for a healthier, crisper cook.

While Inventionland Creationeers work on inventions falling under a myriad of product categories on a daily basis, it appears that QVC personalities love having the tools to create innovate recipes. When it comes to innovative bakeware solutions, our Creationeers are seasoned veterans. After all, they’ve designed both the products and the packaging for many kitchen tools, like the PushPerfect 8” Brownie Pan with Slicing Grid that was featured on QVC’s Kitchen Unlimited with Carolyn.

While this pan brought QVC viewers a little something sweet, they recently got a taste of something savory as the Inventionland-designed Mega Bacon Pan aired on QVC’s In the Kitchen with David.

Culinary Professional Chef Tony Notaro was back in David Venable’s kitchen last week, demonstrating the innovation behind the Chef Tony Mega Bacon Pan or as QVC has dubbed it, the “Grease Away Bacon Pan with Tongs by Chef Tony.”

“You’re looking at this very ingenious way to cook bacon…” said David of the bacon pan.

This wasn’t our Creationeers’ first bacon pan design either. The improved Mega Bacon Pan is “generation two” of the original Chef Tony Bacon Baker. While the original product served its purpose, our Creationeers knew that there’s always room for innovation, so that’s what they set out to accomplish.

From product design to packaging, our Creationeers set out to bring on more bacon by creating a two-part pan with baking sheet and wire rack that not only holds 18 slices of bacon to be cooked at one time, but also elevates each slice out of its own grease on a diagonal, so the fats and oils drain away for the most crisp and flavorful slices of bacon yet.

“This is smart, smart technology,” David said, which is a huge compliment to our Creationeers, who work hard to bring innovative new solutions to even the most everyday tasks – like cooking bacon!

During the segment, both Chef Tony and David Venable showcased the perfectly-cooked bacon, which the pan allows to cook on its side.

“We say goodbye grease, hello flavor!” said Chef Tony, as he was showcasing the product to viewers across the country.

Not only did Chef Tony feature the bacon-making abilities of the Grease Away Bacon Pan, he also demonstrated how this product can make a myriad of foods, like jerkies and even healthy chicken breasts!

QVC fans absolutely loved the product! We’ve even been informed that the Grease Away Bacon Pan will be hitting QVC airwaves again in the very near future!

Those dates and times are still waiting to be finalized, but when they are, you can bet that we’ll let you know!

On Wednesday, April 20th between 12 and 1 p.m., our innovative baking solution, the PushPerfect 8” Brownie Pan, was front and center on QVC’s “Kitchen Unlimited with Carolyn.”

Before we dive into the sweet success of the segment, let us paint a picture for you!

We’re going to go out on a limb here, but there has probably been a time or two in your life when you witnessed someone fighting over the outer brownies of the pan; you know the ones with the crisp edges?

If you can relate, you know that these brownies are a prized possession. With that in mind, Inventionland Creationeers designed the PushPerfect 8” Brownie Pan with Slicing Grid for our friends at Love Cooking Company.

When designing this innovative three-piece pan, Creationeers incorporated a silicone-lined removable base, thanks to a partnership that gained Love Cooking Company U.S. distribution of Wilkinson 1895’s patented PushPan design for a leak-proof seal. An 8” pan surrounds an insertable slicing grid completed the pan’s design, which was an overall effort to make baking easier for everyone.

So, whether you’re an experienced or novice baker, the PushPerfect 8” Brownie Pan gives everyone the opportunity to put their creative spin on a classic dessert. Not to mention, gone are the days of fighting over the outer edges because this pan makes perfectly-portioned treats with chewy edges!

In case you missed the segment, QVC host Carolyn Gracie and longtime guest host Marie Louise Ludwig transformed this product into more than just a perfect brownie maker. In fact, the duo demonstrated just how innovative the PushPerfect 8” Brownie Pan can be!

Gracie and Ludwig made sweet treats, like brownies with ganache and crispy cereal treats as well as savory fare, like pull-apart pepperoni bread and cornbread, too!

After only a short amount of time, Gracie made it known that the PushPerfect 8” Brownie Pan was one of her favorite baking pans!

“You get perfect squares every time!” said Ludwig, noting how you can leave the grid in during baking to make sure each square has a chewy edge.

Appeasing your sweet tooth just got a bit easier, thanks to this Inventionland-designed product!

In case you hadn’t heard, the Mrs. Fields Bake N Stuff that we designed right here at Inventionland for the Love Cooking Company  was repackaged as the Piñata Nonstick Cupcake Pan and was featured on QVC Wednesday afternoon.

Not only is it exciting to see our product on national TV, it’s even more exciting to know that every customer who purchased one will receive their Piñata Cupcake Pan in packaging that we designed specifically for QVC!

This was the Piñata Cupcake Pan’s first QVC outing, and it was the lead-off hitter for the first segment of “Kitchen Unlimited with Carolyn.”

The Piñata Cupcake Pan was featured at the top of the show and host Carolyn Gracie exclaimed, “We’re going to have a little piñata party!” And that’s exactly what they did.

Though it’s said that baking is an exact science, when it comes to the Piñata Cupcake Pan, the opportunities for creativity are endless.

Just like a piñata, the centers of the cupcakes made with the Piñata Nonstick Cupcake Pan are filled with delicious surprises!

In fact, on Wednesday’s segment, Carolyn, the show’s host and QVC kitchen product specialist, Marie Louise Ludwig thought outside of the traditional sweet cupcake and came up with innovative ways to use this product.

Believe it or not, they used the Piñata Nonstick Cupcake Pan to creatively turn a comfort meal into a handheld feast, just in time for fall. We’re talking about cornbread muffins stuffed with chili!

This is just one recipe that shows how creative you can be when it comes to baking. Thanks to our Piñata Nonstick Cupcake Pan, you can now fill your cupcakes (sweet or savory) with delicious fillings.

How does a peanut butter cupcake stuffed with a fruit filling sound? Or how about a cornbread cupcake stuffed with jalapenos and cheese for an extra kick?

Hhhmmm… it’s not even mid-January and already a product that we designed at Inventionland has appeared on QVC? Yep!

Culinary Professional Chef Tony Notaro and QVC host Dave Venable were back “In the Kitchen with David” last weekend. But, it wasn’t the weather that had these two talking. Rather, it was a QVC-heavy hitter that actually appeared on the network two times in 2014 that made its first appearance of the new year!

Without further delay… the Miracle Meatloaf pan was back on QVC!

Not only did Notaro and Venable show off great new meatloaf recipes with the Miracle Meatloaf pan, they also showed its versatility by featuring stuffed peppers and cornbread that were made in the pan.

But, it was Venable’s favorite macaroni-and-cheese stuffed meatloaf that had him doing his self-proclaimed “happy dance” on the air!

“If you’re looking to breathe new life into your old meatloaf recipe, you’ve found the right tool!” said Venable.

QVC originally had listed the Miracle Meatloaf pan for $17, but has now discounted that price to $15.46. The pan has received a four-star rating from 38 customer reviews and can be purchased in red, blue or black.

“During these cold winter months, what’s more comforting than a wonderful, hot piece of meatloaf?” said Venable.

How about a wonderful, hot piece of meatloaf made in a product that we designed at Inventionland?!
