Inventionland’s Innovation Course is aimed at helping students become college and career ready. Student Alex MacKay ’17 of The Kiski School was recently accepted to attend Elon University in North Carolina. MacKay notes the course’s hands-on, project-based learning environment has prepared him for future success and has created “an awesome gateway into the world of entrepreneurship.” Read more!
The Charleroi Area School Board recently approved the Inventionland curriculum. Three teachers will be trained to prepare to teach the program to middle school students this fall, thanks to grants from Chevron and Intermediate Unit 1 (IU1). Read more.
